Exciting new events coming soon to the Haven Community Hub
There are a number of exciting events coming up at the Haven Community Hub, raising money for Age Concern Southend.
Outside the evolving timetable of regular classes and workshops held at the Haven Community Club, the charity also host a number of one-off events to raise money to fundraise for their services. These events are for the whole community and hope to offer something unique and attractive to visitors of all ages.

Pamper Evening – Friday 23rd September, 7-10pm
Following the success of last year’s event also organised by Classy Claws Nails, the Haven Community Hub will open late for an evening of pampering and relaxation. We encourage you to grab your friends and enjoy a variety of treatments including nails, Indian head massage, facials, eyebrow threading and tinting, reiki, card readings, reflexology and hot stone massage.
Tickets cost £10 and include a glass of prosecco on arrival, nibbles and a good bag. Treatments are purchased on top, ranging from £10-£20 a treatment. Guest are also welcome to bring their own drink. Booking is essential with the Hub reception.
Race Night – Friday 21st October, 7-10pm
Join the winners circle and help raise money for Age Concern Southend. This is a virtual horse racing event where you can place bets on horses and jockeys, win prizes and have fun! Tickets are just £10, bring your own booze, nibbles and cash for bets! With thanks to ESL Technology for donating the equipment. Please note this event is held on the first floor and the lift is currently unavailable.
