Festive Weekend at the Haven Community Hub

We were in the full Christmas spirit as we opened our doors for the last weekend of the year.

The Haven Community Hub hosted Santa and Mrs Claus on Saturday 17th December, seeing 60 children with presents funded by Surgical Holdings This activity helped to raise over £700 for Age Concern Southend.

Thanks to Asda Foundation grant of £500 we were also able to offer 50 free Christmas meals for the local community to combat social isolation, including elderly clients and local families.
