Charity Race Night – A fun and unique fundraising event

Join the winners circle and help raise money for Age Concern Southend who provide vital services for the elderly community and fund the Haven Community Hub, Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea.

We are inviting you to The Haven Community Hub on FRIDAY 21^st OCTOBER, 7-10pm for an unique evening of fun and excitement with virtual horse racing. You can place bets on horses and jockeys and win amazing prizes, including tickets to Chelmsford Racecourse, afternoon tea at the Roslin Hotel, vouchers, booze and more! Tickets are just £10, bring your friends, bring your own booze, nibbles and cash for bets!

How it works

We will be showing eight films of actual horse races throughout the evening, each with eight numbered horses.
Place a bet at the tote table on whichever horse you think will win the race.
You can bet on as many horses as you like, as many times as you like.
You will be given a ticket for each bet. Hold on to this, you’ll need it to claim your winnings.
When all bets have been placed, the race will be shown and the winner displayed.
If your horse is the winner, collect your winnings from the tote table.
